This week, Glen delves into healthcare with Robert Laszewski, President of Health Policy & Strategy Associates. Glen and Robert talk about how American healthcare compares to the rest of the world, and how the two Presidential candidates’ healthcare plans compare to one another. Glen concludes that Barack Obama’s plan has extra, indirect costs and will cost far more than estimated.

Glen then shares his experiences as a college graduate and young entrepreneur with a young listener who asks him for advice on whether or not to venture out on his own in business.

Then, Glen continues his “Why I’m Proud of America” series with two stories: the first about a soldier in Iraq who postponed his wedding when called for a second tour of duty, and the second about a man who grew up in Iran and plans to apply for U.S. citizenship.

Glen also discusses the political trend in America and concludes that the country is trending leftward, before closing with the inspiring words inscribed on the Department of Commerce building in Washington D.C.
