This week, I interview Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform, and author of “Leave Us Alone: Getting the Government’s Hands Off Our Money, Our Guns, Our Lives.” Grover and I discuss the two coalitions fighting for control in America: the “Taking” coalition, and the “Leave Us Alone” coalition.

Then, I list some local examples of the perils of government intervention, such as Rendell’s backroom casino license deals ($1 million a week is being spent on unusued cranes), and Tom Murphy’s infamous loan to Lazarus, which was never repaid. I also discuss Obama’s energy plan: how it’s really about cutting consumption, and how Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats are trying to shut down debate on the topic.
