  • U.S. Rep. Mike Ross (D-AR) – a so-called “Blue Dog” – promised a crowd in Little Rock, that he will not support  a single payer system.
  • According to the article, Ross states, “I’ve said this several times but let me see if I can make it a little more clear.  I don’t represent Speaker (Nancy) Pelosi or President Obama or (House Finance Committee Chairman) Barney Frank. I represent the people of Arkansas and I’m not voting for any bill that forces any one plan on anyone, period.”
  • Let’s contact Ross and encourage him to stand by this statement.

Democrat Health Care Bill Passes Energy & Commerce Committee 31-28

  • “The Blue Lapdog Democrats did their rollover and play dead act on Friday night as House Democrats passed their government takeover of health care bill out of the third and final committee of jurisdiction, the House Committee on Energy & Commerce.”

  • According to Oddis’s article, when calculating the 16 most important House Votes so far this Congress, the Blue Dogs voted with the Ultra Left-Wing Democrats 78% of the time.
