Just How Corrupt is Charlie Rangel?

Ross Kaminsky of Human Events does a good job of outlining the history of corruption surrounding House Ways and Means Committee Chairman, Charlie Rangel.

The bottom line is that Rangel has a history of underreporting his income, assetts, and net worth as required by U.S. House rules.  Kaminsky reveals that according to the Sunlight Foundation…

“Rangel failed to report purchases, sales, or his ownership of assets at least 28 times since 1978 on his personal financial disclosure forms.  Assets worth between $239,026 and $831,000 appeared and disappeared with no disclosure of when they were acquired, how long they were held or when they were sold, as House rules require.”
