Rep. David Dreier (R-San Dimas, CA) is the ranking Republican on the Rules Committee in the House.  He just issued a memo outlining the problems that Democrats face in moving forward with the “Slaughter Solution.”  Dreier also estimates at NRO’s The Corner that the Democrats are currently 10 votes shy from passing healthcare in the House.

Over the weekend, Democratic leaders made clear that they plan to finish their government takeover of health care no matter what the political consequences promise to be.  On Meet the Press, David Axelrod (pictured here) actually threatened Republicans who promise to campaign on repealing legislation if passed, stating “make my day.

Let’s make his day!

PLEASE KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!

UPDATE: More on Rep. David Dreier here and here.

Latest from Dan Spencer at RedState, “Have the Democrats Got the Votes?“  The bottom line is that Democrats still do not have the votes, but they may be getting closer to passing ObamaCare via the Slaughter Solution.

Rep. Jason Altmire is now saying he is not sure how he will vote on the Health Care bill.  See Hannity’s Rep. Count.

9 to 5 summary (March 15): from ALLAPUNDIT via HotAir.com.

UPDATE: JASON ALTMIRE IS STILL UNDECIDED! I just heard Rep. Altmire on the Sean Hannity Show.  He kept saying that he will vote with his constituents.  The problem is, his constituents do not like the healthcare bill.  Yet he refuses to declare himself a “NO” vote.  What does this tell you?  PLEASE CALL AND TELL HIM TO VOTE “NO.”
