According to Scott Rasmussen, the 54% of Americans who wanted ObamaCare repealed last week, still want it repealed this week.  Ed Morrissey at HotAir reacts to this new poll here.

After being law for just one week, several companies have already indicated that ObamaCare will drive healthcare costs up immediately.  John Deere announced that it expects to take a $150 million hit from this new legislation, and Caterpiller expects a $100 million hit.  AT & Tannounced that it will be forced to make a $1 billion write down due solely to the health bill” These companies are trying to prepare their workers for the inevitable decrease in coverage and increase in costs.

For their efforts, Henry Waxman lashed out at these companies over the weekend, and is now planning to drag the CEOs before Congress to defend their math.

Congressman Henry Waxman intends to haul before Congress corporations that have told their employees to expect increased health care costs because of Obamacare. This is behavior that can indisputably be described as soviet behavior. If McCarthyism was about hounding out communists and their sympathizers, the left seems intent on creating their own version of McCarthyism, which we can call Waxmania — silencing capitalists.

Oh yea, and the AP finally reported that we do indeed have a current shortage of general practitioners (approximately 16,000) and that ObamaCare is likely to make this problem worse by increasing the shortage to 40,000.
