Dr. Paul Kengor – executive director for the Center for Vision and Values at Grove City College – stands in proudly for Glen this weekend on the “Glen Meakem Program.” As guest host, Paul talks about the economic news dominating the headlines, some election updates, and President Obama’s political ideology.
Dr. Dick Jewell, President of Grove City College, joins Pauls with some political prognostications regarding the upcoming November elections. Grove City is a great academic institution, and has been ranked one of the most affordable colleges in the United States.
Another guest, Dr. John Drew, knew President Obama when he was a student at Occidental College. John – a former Occidental student himself and founder of the Democratic Student Socialist Alliance – states that as a Sophomore, Barack Obama was a self described Marxist Leninist. Obama’s attraction to this radical ideology as a young college student could explain his absolute determination as President to pass the current “progressive” agenda of the liberal left. Unlike John, who transformed into a church going, Ronald Reagan conservative, President Obama never described a similar political evolution away from socialist thinking for himself.
