Even before the Boston Marathon Bombing, President Obama decided he was just too busy to send a senior official to Margaret Thatcher’s funeral.
An Obama spokesperson said, “this is a week when there is a lot of movement on Capitol Hill on gun control issues.”
What? Gun control is taking up so much of Obama’s time that he can’t send a senior official to honor one of America’s staunchest allies?
The UK’s Daily Mail called Obama’s decision a “snub to Thatcher,” and reported that British politicians were “surprised and disappointed.”
Margaret Thatcher was instrumental in FREEING hundreds of millions of people from communist tyranny and socialist oppression. She saved Britain from economic ruin.
So let the record be clear, our President is busy pursuing his own oppressive socialist agenda and refuses to honor Britain’s Iron Lady.
