2015-05-30: Obama Rules via Executive Action

This week, in a victory for the rule of law, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals refused to overturn the preliminary injunction placed on Obama’s immigration executive actions.  The Court also stated in the majority opinion that the Obama Administration “has not made a strong showing that it is likely to succeed on the merits” of its defense of Obama’s executive action.

Glen also talks about the latest power grabs launched by President Obama’s EPA, the latest foreign policy headlines, and the latest economic headlines.

Glen talks with Dan Kish (Senior Vice President of policy for the Institute for Energy Research) about the EPA’s latest power grabs, and David Spigelmyer (President of Marcellus Shale Coalition) about the economic benefits of Marcellus Shale gas, the the damage that Governor Wolf’s proposed extraction tax will cause Pennsylvania’s economy.

Finally, Glen talks with Ed Solomon (President and CEO of Mercer Lime) and Rick Enscoe (Co-Founder of Enscoe-Long Insurance Group) about how over regulation and high taxation is keeping American businesses from being competitive in the global market.
