I believe so many voters do not want to watch the lengthy process or do their homework. They must have believed that “change” meant a fresh face and start, but it would never occur to them how radical in an accelerated rate the “fresh face” would take them. Isn’t this why Ross Perot for a while attracted a disparate
number of people who were looking for “hope & change”? Shame on voters who don’t want to go through gestation and the pangs of childbirth, but rather have the baby or monster handed to them at the end.
